Vehicle Test Engineer- Lower Saxony Germany

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct on-road testing for driving-related functions, including system validation and performance evaluation on non-official software versions.
• Perform vehicle-level debugging and integration testing for different software packages.
• Collect and document test data, summarize test results, and follow up on issue reproduction and optimization.
• Maintain the vehicle and testing environment, ensuring readiness for test activities.
• Coordinate customer acceptance tests and optimize demo routes in collaboration with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Automation, Vehicle Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in autonomous driving or ADAS road testing, with familiarity in common testing methodologies and workflows.
• Hands-on experience in test case design and test report preparation.
• Proficiency in Linux system operations.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Possession of a valid German driving license and ability to drive confidently.
• Fluent English communication skills; ability to engage with international clients independently is a strong plus
